MY LATEST ENDEAVORS

I have completed my doctoral dissertation at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA)! The topic is "Fraternal Music Organizations and their Impact on Student Leadership in College Bands". My goal for this study is to give college band directors further insight and to help quantify the impact of these organizations within respective band programs. Click the link below to view a PDF.

Earlier in August 2018, I traveled to London to research the music of African-British composer, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. The goal is to transcribe Coleridge-Taylor's "African Suite, Op.35" for Wind Ensemble. The performance of movement 4, "Danse Negre", is set for Spring 2019.
